Aftermarket wheels and tacked on chrome aside, these have aged pretty well.

I think I’ve seen maybe three ever in person... I suspect there’s a logical ($$$$) reason why that is. I'll let AMGTech chime in on that one.

These cars have scary light amounts of feedback in the pedals and wheels. They feel proper excluded from the world inside.

I dare not think what it takes to keep one of these on the road though. Specific parts have got to be 500E kinds of rare. And that’s if you don’t hunt for a V12 model.

One big issue is cars built from the beginning of production until late 95 or so will have the biodegradable wiring harness which if it hasn’t been replaced yet, will need it . And then there’s the general complexity of the car, and insane MSRP when new (approaching 100K in those dollars just for a V8), and you won’t see many. There are a few on the eastside.
